Pecan Pie


1 cup granulated sugar

¼ cup brown sugar, packed

1/3 cup butter, melted

1 tsp vanilla extract

3 eggs, beaten

1 cup light corn syrup

1 cup pecans, roughly chopped

9 in. unbaked pie crust


  1. To large bowl add in both sugars, butter, vanilla, eggs, and light corn syrup. Mix until everything is well combined

  2. To unbaked pie crust, add in the chopped pecans and spread them out evenly. Pour mixture over the top (pecans will start to rise to the top)

  3. Place in preheated 350 F oven for 45-50 min. or until pie is not overly jiggly. Pie will continue to set as it cools.

*If the crust starts burning, place a pie crust protector or foil around to keep it from browning further.
