Oreo Truffles

20 Oreos

6 oz. cream cheese

1 bar chocolate of choice

Optional; pecans, walnuts

  1. Roughly break 20 Oreo's into blender. Blend until smooth and crumbly

  2. Pour crumbs into a large bowl

  3. Add the cream cheese. Allow cream cheese to come to room temperature or else it will be very difficult to mix

  4. Using the back of a wooden spoon, or hand mixer, work on mixing everything together until well incorporated

  5. Roll mixture into golf sized balls. Place balls in the freezer for 1-2 hours or until firm

  6. Melt chocolate. This recipe is great for milk, dark, or white chocolate

  7. Use a toothpick to help you dip Oreo balls into the chocolate. Use a spoon to pour chocolate to completely coat each ball

  8. Set balls aside on parchment paper until firm. Oreo balls can also be rolled into nuts of choice; pecans, walnuts, etc.

  9. Store in an airtight container if not eating right away. Enjoy!
