1 large onion, chopped

1 green bell pepper, chopped

1 lb ground beef

2.5 cups tomatoes, diced

2 (15.5oz) cans chili beans

¼ cup tomato paste

4 cloves garlic, minced

½ tbsp salt, or to taste

1 tbsp black pepper

1 tbsp red chili powder

2 tbsp cumin powder

  1. Heat oil over medium heat. Add onion and green pepper. Sauté 5-6 minutes, or until onions become translucent. Set aside

  2. Brown beef and pork. Set aside

  3. To crockpot, add rotel, diced tomatoes, chili beans, kidney beans, tomato paste, garlic, salt, pepper, chili powder, cumin powder, taco seasoning, and chili sauce. Add in browned meat and give everything a good stir

  4. Cover and cook on LOW 5-6 hours or HIGH 3-4 hours

  5. Top with shredded cheese, chopped onions, Fritos, sour cream, jalapenos. Whatever floats your boat! Also goes fantastic with my homemade cornbread
