Crockpot BBQ Pulled Pork


1 ½ lb pork roast

3 cloves garlic, minced

½ tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

1 bottle (17oz)

18 oz. BBQ sauce


  1. To crockpot, add pork, garlic, salt, pepper, and root beer. Cover and cook on LOW 7 hours, or until very tender

  2. Drain most of the liquid and shred pork using two forks

  3. Add in favorite BBQ sauce and mix. Cover and allow to cook additional 30 minutes.

  4. Enjoy as a sandwich or on its own!
