Cream Cheese Banana Bread
Ingredients
3 bananas, very ripe
2 eggs
¼ cup buttermilk
6 tbsp butter, melted
2 cups all-purpose flour
¾ cup sugar
1 tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt
Cream Cheese Layer
6 oz cream cheese, softened
1 egg
¼ cup sugar
2 tbsp all-purpose flour
Directions
To medium bowl add in your bananas and mash really well. Remember, the riper the banana, the sweeter the end product! Then add in the eggs, buttermilk, and butter. Mix until well incorporated
In a separate, large bowl, mix your flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt
Pour your wet ingredients in to your dry and mix until everything is just combined. You don’t want to over mix it
To a third bowl, add in your cream cheese, egg, sugar, and flour. Mix until well combined and creamy
Grease a loaf pan and pour in ¾ of your batter. Then pour in your cream cheese layer and top with remaining batter. Use a butter knife to swirl your mixture
Bake at 350 F for 50-60 minutes
