Chocolate Chip Brownies



Ingredients

½ cup butter, melted

¼ cup cocoa powder

2 eggs

1 cup sugar

1 tsp vanilla

½ tsp salt

¼ tsp baking powder

¾ cup flour

½ cup chocolate chips

Powdered sugar

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F

  2. In small bowl, whisk together melted butter and cocoa powder. Set aside

  3. To large bowl, add eggs and whisk well

  4. Add vanilla and sugar to eggs and whip until well incorporated and creamy

  5. Now add cocoa powder mixture to the egg mixture and mix well

  6. Pour in salt, baking powder, and flour. Mix until you have a smooth batter

  7. Fold in chocolate chips

  8. To parchment lined 8x8 pan, pour in batter and carefully smooth into even layer

  9. Bake for 30 minutes. Allow to cool completely before cutting into squares. Sprinkle with powdered sugar if desired
