Buttery Toffee Cookies


½ cup granulated sugar

½ cup butter, softened

1 egg

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 ¼ cup all-purpose flour

¼ tsp salt

½ tsp baking soda

4 chocolate-covered toffee bars


  1. To large bowl, cream together the sugar, butter, egg, and vanilla

  2. To a separate bowl, combined flour, salt, and baking soda

  3. Pour the dry ingredients into the wet, and slowly begin to mix until everything is just combined

  4. Finely chop all of your toffee bars (I used Heath bars) and stir in to your dough

  5. Measure dough in tablespoon increments and place on a parchment lined cookie sheet, giving at least 2’ in between them

  6. Bake at 350 F for 10-12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden. Allow to cool before serving
