Breakfast Braid


1 Pizza Crust**

2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

5 eggs, scrambled and cooked

6 slices bacon, cooked

2 tbsp butter, melted


  1. For this recipe you can use homemade, or store bough pizza crust. When I make this I love using the canned Pillsbury pizza dough to make for a super easy breakfast!

  2. Place dough on rectangular cookie sheet and gently stretch to fit the pan

  3. Spread the cheese in the middle of the dough. Remember, we need a few inches of dough left on each side in order to “tie” this all together

  4. Now you want to cut strips on both sides of the dough. I try to mirror both sides so they “tie” more neatly. I find it easiest to use kitchen scissors

  5. Next, evenly place your scrambled eggs and then bacon over top of the cheese

  6. Now take your strips and gently pull them and criss-cross, working your way from one end to the other. Don’t worry if it doesn’t look perfect the first time!

  7. Brush the top with melted butter

  8. Bake at 400 F for 12 minutes
